who we are
The Milano Curling Club project was officially born in spring 2020 with the aim of promoting the development of curling in the Milan area.
In the first six years of activity, hundreds of people have been able to try curling thanks to our starting courses and other promotional initiatives.
At the same time, competitive activity has developed, with several of our teams participating in tournaments in Italy and abroad and in national championships, culminating in victory in the Spirit of Curling national championship in the 2024/25 season.
Come and visit us and you will discover, in a friendly and fun atmosphere, a different sport, rich in tradition and fairness, and all to love.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is made up of three members, appointed by the members’ meeting in June 2026, and will remain in office until June 30, 2030.
After more than 15 years of playing volleyball and thanks also to two injuries, she understands that her life needs new changes and stimulus.
She thus accepts the invitation of 3 friends to take part in the trial offered by Jass Curling Club for the following Monday: “Come on, a different evening, let’s make some videos and let’s laugh a little!”
It was the best choice of that period, curling immediately conquered her for its ability to cool the mind and combine strategy, concentration and profound values.
Martina is founding member of Milano Curling Club and President since September 2024.
Curler since 2012 when the curiosity for this original sport seen on television pushes him to give it a try at the Palasesto with Jass Curling Club.
It’s love at first sight for curling, for its values and spirit and for the environment, which he begins to get to know by participating in tournaments in Italy and abroad and then also in the Italian championships.
Since 2018 he has been member of the Lombardy Regional Committee of the Italian Ice Sports Federation in which he promotes the development of curling at the regional level.
Antonio is founding member of Milano Curling Club and Vice President since June 2026.
Born in Milan in 1963, married to Silvia, he is the father of two wonderful children (his father’s pride and joy…) and grandfather to two equally wonderful grandchildren who help him stay young at heart.
Always an athlete, but curious to learn new sports. So, after speed skating, mountain biking, scuba diving, and running, he fell in love with curling thanks to his wife, who gave him a starter course.
A newcomer, he still has a lot to learn, but his curiosity and interest in this sport, along with the passion he puts into everything, will help him grow.
Max has been a member of Board of Directors since June 2026.
